Jenni’s Story | From Entrepreneur to Intrapreneur
In this episode of MONEY O2, we’re joined by Jenni Nguyen, Director at the Jean Madeline Institute in Philadelphia. As the daughter of Vietnamese American parents, Jenni shares her personal experience navigating money and education.
Jenni opens up about turning down a full-ride scholarship to a traditional university and instead taking on around $130,000 in student loans to attend a different school. She also shares the decision to drop out in her junior year and pursue a career in beauty and wellness.
In her late 20s, Jenni became a business owner and eventually chose to exit her business to take on a leadership role in a more established company. Her story is a powerful reminder that while we all have the power to choose our paths, those choices carry both positive and negative financial consequences.
